The Big Chill

I recently watched The Big Chill for the first time and fell in love with the colors, set design and pretty much every outfit. I can't tell if the palette was carefully planned or if these were the only hues available in 1983. Evidence like my ancient family photos would suggest the latter.

I wonder if Wendy Mullin ever watched The Big Chill while working on a fall collection. I don't like to think about my exact point of origin that often ever, but I do like to imagine my parents being madly in love somewhere that looks like this before they accidentally made me. (Only with less existential angst.)
